RECENT DISCOVERIES AND RESEARCHES MADE BY PAKISTANI IN THE FIELD OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY
IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH
the quality of human nature is to move forward and discover new things. this integrity of humans helped him to make the era of science and discoveries. Now in 21 century, man makes his life easier though exploring the Earth and discovering gadgets. people from all over the world contribute their part to finding cures for diseases, making technology easier to handle, and making our next generation more creative and talented.
for this government of different countries invest a lot of money in research and developing skill among youth.
stem education plays a vital role by not just cramming a book but helping youngsters to find out the solution to their daily problems. through this, they can become scientists or researchers in near future.
RECENT DISCOVRIES MADE BY PAKISTANI SCIENTISTS IN FIELDS OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY
Pakistan also plays a significant role in the researches of numerous fields about 2% of total researches all over the world is done by Pakistan. I do mention the researches or discoveries done in chemistry and biochemistry
chemistry is a wide area to study chemicals, organics, the study of substances—that is, elements and compounds—while biochemistry is the discipline in which we study the substances in living things and how they change within an organism.
Researches and discoveries
here are the Scientists of Pakistan that work in the chemistry and biochemistry fields
- Muhammad Akram from Punjab University work on artificial intelligence and image processing
- Anwar Hassan Gillani and Haroon khan from Agha khan medical college research medicinal and biomolecular chemistry
- Zahid Anwar from the university of management and science do work on inorganic and nuclear chemistry
- Rob beriddon from the National Institute of biotechnology and genetic engineering Pakistan researched virology
- Abdul Waheed from NUST research on molecular biology and biochemistry
- Iqbal Chaudhary and Atta ur Rehman from Karachi university work on medicinal and biomolecular chemistry
- Muhammad Asghar from the university of agriculture Faisalabad do work on biotechnology
- ammer Syed from Quaid e Azam University work on biotechnology.
- Haq Nawaz from the University of Faisalabad researched General chemistry.
and there are so many who worked in this field and there will more in next following years

Books
books that Pakistani researchers published in the fields of chemistry. There are many books but I will share some of them
- science & technology for National Development written by Dr. Khalid Mehmos
- words from a scientist (1998) written by Dr. Khalid Mehmood
- Directory of Scientific Periodicals of Pakistan 2004) written by Muhammad Aqil
- Abstract book( 3rd conferance on sustainablilty im process industry 2016
- writteb by chemical enjineering Department of UET peshawar
- transgenic plants(2010) by Dr.Faud & Abdul Majeed
- modern buotechnology (2015) by Dr.Javed Iqbal
- PCSIR patents (2004)
- Insluin Resistance in non- diabetic heart failire in Karachi (2015)by Muhammad Ahsan
STEM EDUCATION AND FIELDS OF CHEMISTRY
we already make vast developments in this world with the help of biochemistry and chemistry. like looking at the organic compounds how we use them, look at our daily life products from soaps, shampoos, to cough syrups we all made this with different reactions and chemical ingredients.now just think if we combine Stem education with biochemistry and chemistry
Let just look at the definition of STEM EDUCATION
“STEM stands for Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics. … Unlike traditional education experiences in which subject areas are concentrated on separately, STEM education emphasizes technology and integrates subjects in ways that connect disciplines and relate them to each other.”
stem education mainly working on experiments and research..their objective is to build curiosity among students like how hydrochloric acid is formed?. how the phenopthelin indicator turns into pink or white?. how organic chains of carbons are made of different industrial and pharmaceutical products?
how we used HBr and HCL in cough syrups?
what are antigens and antibodies .what are human blood groups? stem education wants to give ideas for students through these kinds of questions so that they can explore the world and science in a better way.
And I think chemistry and biochemistry is a great field to work on. chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology are the fields that cover industrial, pharmaceutical, defense areas.
